Jury Culture Resident and Studio Visit

During the open call for Cultura Resident 2024 by the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, we were part of the jury in the modality of mediation and artistic creation, as former residents in its 2022 edition. 

It was made up of four members with interdisciplinary approaches, evaluating more than ninety projects and selecting two. The reading of portfolios was a very enriching learning process, generating debate and reflection within the collective. We approached the task with commitment, placing special emphasis on maintaining a careful, critical, and unbiased approach.

Once the projects had been selected and the residencies had begun, we took part in the Studio Visit, a meeting between the jury and the residents, as part of their accompaniment program. There, we shared tools and points of view, got to know their workspaces, and opened up the evaluation criteria during the jury sessions.
