Desplazar. Un recorrido desde el cuerpo para repensar la movilidad is a project in which we developed a performative route promoting dialogue on climate change and its relationship with current mobility. To do so, we designed a site-specific proposal in the vicinity of the Tarongers Campus of the Universitat de València.

This experience consisted of a group tour accompanied by an audio guide, inviting participants to investigate and explore through their own bodies the different ways in which we move around the city, the rhythms we use, how this affects us, and what energy we use in the process. Through bodily experience and interaction with the environment, we encourage reflection on our everyday movements.

Desplazar. Una deriva que explora el espacio público consists of an audio-guided drift through the environment of the city of Buenos Aires. It is a collective action in which, through an audio heard individually, a space for experimentation and reflection from our bodies on the ways in which we move in the urban environment and its socio-environmental consequences is encouraged. It is an immersive proposal in which each participant is immersed in a historical narrative and given a series of instructions to develop autonomously.

Desplazar is presented as a sound-sensory activity that encourages reflection through movement, observation, listening, smell, and touch. It is an instance of bodily experimentation that intertwines the fields of movement arts, performance, science, and education, with an approach to the problems of the climate crisis and mobility. It is an intergenerational and multisensory activity to be developed in the open space and transit of the square.

In 2023, Desplazar received the support of Activa Cultura II from the Universitat de València. During 2024, it will be developed together with Camila Kantt (Educational Technology Specialist) in collaboration with various teacher training institutions in the city of Buenos Aires.
